HealthTrust Purchasing Group has awarded a contract to Teleflex to provide its line of central venous catheters (CVCs).

Under the agreement, HealthTrust's 1,400 hospital members will have access to Teleflex's CVCs and related vascular access products and vascular catheter management technologies.

Teleflex's CVCs include peripherally inserted catheters, sheath introducers, dialysis access products as well as specialty catheters.

Teleflex vascular division president Paul Molloy said, "Our goal is to work with purchasing groups like HealthTrust to make zero complications a reality, which will help us all to improve outcomes and enhance patient and provider safety."

Teleflex provides specialty medical devices and solutions that enable healthcare providers to improve outcomes of critical care and surgical procedures and enhance patient and provider safety.
